Biscuit cream cheese truffles
Cream cheese candies, which can be made using the American Oreo cookies, the Domino cookies from our northern neighbors, and the local Mesikäpa DOPS cookies. Preparation Crush the cookies (including white cream!) into fine crumbs in a food processor or by tamping with a rolling pin. Add the cream cheese and let the food processor run until the mixture is very creamy. Put the mixture in the refrigerator to harden. Shape the mixture into small balls and put them back in the fridge to harden for a while. Melt the chocolate over a water bath. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate, then put it on a foil-covered tray or cutting board to harden. Decorate if desired (in the photo, cornflower petals*, almond chips and dried cranberries are used). Keep cool until serving. Keep the finished truffles in the fridge and use them within a few days. Tips and recommendations Cornflower petals can be bought in pharmacies (look for them at pharmacies).
